UPDATE: Flowers went undrafted, but it didn't take him long to get his chance in the NBA. He was signed by the Los Angeles Clippers following day two of the Draft.

Former Louisville commit Trentyn Flowers became the record-breaking eighth Next Star to sign ahead of NBL24, and the former five-star recruit fits the mould of the modern NBL combo guard.

The 6'8" wing has emerged as one of the most naturally talented and athletic players in this upcoming draft class, and has shown flashes of his game-breaking ability.

His long and wiry frame possesses deceptive strength that sees him finish easily through bigger, stronger bodies, but he has a level of agility and finesse that make him look like he's gliding on the court.

His 18 points in the final quarter of Adelaide's Round 4 win over Illawarra was an incredible show of his ability.

"Trentyn is a young player and an NBA prospect, but for someone who is 6”8, he has great vision and great poise."

CJ Bruton
Adelaide 36ers coach

"We are thrilled to welcome Trentyn to the Next Stars program and believe he will bring great excitement to the 36ers."

Liam Santamaria
GM of Next Stars Recruitment at the NBL

"Flowers is a great athlete and a lethal playmaker in transition ... if the game starts to slow down and he can process it at a higher rate, his draft stock will skyrocket."
