The pre-season grind is over and now comes the ultimate test - We Got Next profiles the Next Stars as they take to the court for Round 1 of NBL24. 

For Ariel Hukporti, it's the culmination of 12 months of hard work following a serious achilles injury in the pre-season of NBL23. He's returned fitter, stronger and opportunity knocks with key names out of the Melbourne United lineup.

In Brisbane, Rocco Zikarsky has the world at his feet at just 17 years of age. On this episode, the 7-foot-3 center meets with two of the greatest Australian big men of all-time - Aron Baynes and Andrew Bogut, for some words of advice and wisdom.

Over in Adelaide, NBA draft prospect Trentyn Flowers talks about the challenges of joining in a new league and playing the point, while Illawarra Hawk AJ Johnson and Sydney King Alex Toohey are tackling the rollercoaster ride of professional sport together, literally, with a trip to Movie World on the Gold Coast, before facing off in the season-opener.
