Alexandre Sarr has soared in Bleacher Report’s most recent NBA 2024 mock draft, not only being listed as the second pick by expert Jonathan Wasserman, but also labelled “the hottest name early in the 2024 draft cycle”.

Sarr’s stock has skyrocketed since joining the Perth Wildcats, starring in a bench role for the side. He’s currently averaging over 10 points and five rebounds per game, in just 21 minutes of action.

The 18-year-old also drilled a pair of late threes against Adelaide to not only showcase his ability to stretch the floor, but take responsibility with a game on the line.

Cairns’ Bobi Klintman’s stock has also risen off the back of a run of strong performances in the NBL, with the Next Star earning a nomination for the Chemist Warehouse Fans MVP for Round 2.

The Bleacher Report currently has him listed as the 22nd selection in next year’s draft.

Illawarra’s AJ Johnson is the third and final NBL-based player to be named by Bleacher Report, at pick 44, with the media outlet acknowledging his limited role within the Hawks’ current lineup, largely due to his age and pre-season injury problems.

Lachlan Olbrich and Ariel Hukporti have both been featured as potential second round picks by ESPN.
