He's already one of Australia's brightest young talents, but Alex Toohey has taken another key step in his career with a strong performance at international level.
Toohey scored 22 points, including nine in the last quarter alone, as Australia Select drew with Japan in the second of their friendly games on Sunday in Sapporo.
After Sam Froling dominated game one, it was the Sydney Kings Next Star who made his presence felt in the 95-95 result.
